Accurate Data 68 at Natchez
« on: October 20, 2006, 09:35:27 PM »
Anyone have any experience with this powder?  Eight pounds for $70 plus HazMat is a deal if it is any good.  Website shows it to be comprable to Accurate 2015.  Accurate website shows load info for 2015 in 223, 308, and 7-08.  I would be good to go if the powder is worth it.  Will it be around in a few years or is it some kind of surplus?

Bought some a few months back and have been using it for 55 gr. FMJ plinking loads in a 223 with fine results.
Cannot beat the price, especially if you combine additional powders or priners to lessen the $20. hazardous  product shipping fee :(.
Pretty good deal on the powder, meters well and accurate enough.
What's not to like.

Good point about combining an order.  I didn't think of that.  Have been buying all powder and primers locally.

I have not used that powder, but I bought 48 lbs. of the 2230-c and have had very good luck with it.

I am thinking of buying some soon.  I bought some Data 86 from Powder Valley and it is the same good deal and shoots very well.  Data 86 is similar to Acc.3100 (between R19 and R22)  I understand it is made by Vitavouri/Lapua.  Hard to pass up a good deal.  My friends and I try to get our orders together and buy quantity to offset the Haz-Mat.  I thinks it's $20.00 up to 40lbs.  The stores around me are a bunch of crooks.  They get the stuff trucked in (no Haz-Mat) and still charge top dollar plus.
