I'd check used. Fox/Sterlingworth/Ithaca - lots of good used doubles out there at a reasonable price. I tried a few new ones at the lower end of the price spectrum, such as Tristar/Stoeger/Baikal and they handled like chunks of firewood.

nabob,
I have been out of firearms for several years now (archery), I own several nice name brand guns in popular calibers and gauges. I was somewhat concerned about off brand imports but you never know sometimes there are some some quaility guns made by companys that are not as popular  or well known.

Thanks for the input.

Terry

The CZ shotguns are made by Huglu for CZ. I have a CZ Redheas O/U in 20 gauge that I recently acquired. Nice looking gun and it shoots well. Some of the higher end CZs and Huglus are fine shotguns.
Hunting and fishing are not matters of life or death. They are much more important than that.
