Saw good sign

Went scouting where Ill be elk hunting on the 15 of this month.I have a cow elk license and will be using my 54 cal plains rifle.This season is a centerfire rifle season but I can use a muzzleloader also and Im tired of hunting with centerfire.Saw sign of elk going to a water hole and Ill check it again next week.

What state are you hunting in?  I am going to use my Renegade on a centerfire hunt in December.   Ron

Good luck to you! Get close and lay low. The .54 is plenty good elk medicine.
