Greeting all, I have a few Remington firearms and one happens to be a 308 Model Seven with a Simmons 3-9 WA scope which I got back in 1989. It's my favorite hiking/hunting gun and easily wins out over my BDL 7Mag.
My question is a simple one which may have been discussed before, so please forgive me. Why in the heck did they lengthen the barrel to 20" over 18.5".. That's the beauty of the Model Seven I think.
Just Wondering
