I wasn't expecting to go opening weekend. In my zone in Arkansas it is next weekend, 11-11. I ended up getting the weekend off. But, I have 3 different loads made for the 7-08 and I can't remember which one the scope is zeroed to. Looks like I might make a quick "high line" shot or two on the way back to Arkansas. Stupid move on my part, been so busy "developing loads" that I didn't think about actually using them. The 270 doesn't have a recoil pad and I am leary of using the 223 on deer even little, bitty ones.
