Had the three little-bores out on the bench over the weekend at 100mtrs.
Weatherby Vanguard Special Varminter in .223 was good with a 5x 55gr Sierra GameKings, and a good 3x with Remington factory 55gr SP's.
Almost beat last shoot's Gameking group. Just manged to drop one out the group.
Never mind, there's always next time !
Anschutz .222 was exceptional. Fired just one 5x group with Speer 52gr Match HPBT for under .5",
and my last 3x 50 gr Hornady PSP's for a reasonable one as well.
Savage Model 40 .22Hornet, tried some leftover 50gr Hornady PSP's, and managed a 5x group under .5" ,
and a reasonable 5x 40gr Sierra PSP, with Lil'Gun.
So all in all, a happy little camper.
