Remington Genisis muzzleloader
« on: November 10, 2006, 07:15:30 AM »
I saw a few pictures of this muzzleloader  and from what I saw it looks like a very nice rifle.

Anybody shoot one yet?

Here is a link to the Genisis, It does kind of looks like a CVA....Maybe they make it for them.

It is definitely made either by CVA or Traditions. Over priced import in my opinion, mostly because the Remington name is slapped on it. Jack.

Made in Spain by the same company that makes Traditions. Comes with a painted pot-metal receiver and a swing block. I have examined a few up close, the wood on the Thumbhole laminate was very nice. The swing block and receiver are something else. ::)

Two Bears

The Remington and the Traditions Yukon are made by Adesa Arms in Spain.  Ardesa is a well respected manufacturer in Europe.

This is not the string I was looking for - but it might give you some information.
