I just purchased a new SP101 .357, 3-1/16" bbl. I'm extremely impressed with its accuracy. But there is a problem:
Cartridges do not seat completely in 2 or 3 of the chambers. It appears that the ejector is not located correctly over the chambers. Most cartridges can be seated correctly with mild force, but this should not be necessary. (I tried many cartridges from many manufacturers) This is not acceptable for a conceal gun.
The gun is on its way back to Ruger (after another $40 for shipping) so hopefully I will get a timely repair.
Has anyone seen problems like this?
