is there any special sort of teflon tape you're using?

I broke the original breech plug wrench for my encore cause the damn plug seized.

I bought some of their super lube.... but figured there was probably a better answer.

I have used Shooters Choice high temp grease for years with my Encore, I have never had a breech plug seize. Also I use a 7/16 six sided socket with an extension and a ratchet to remove my breech plugs.

I have shot over 20 time without touching the breech plug and still was able to remove it easily.

i had the same problem . did you use the same power more last year , I had a jug of clean shot power and it got rock hard, i thick the power gets bad , sitting around,
