How is the recoil for the 270? I have in Encore pistol in 6.5x55 and it is up there. A bit of muzzle blast also depending on the load.

cheesehaed, the recoil isn't bad. Oh forgot to put the bullet is a 130gr hornady sp. It has more bark then bite, I have some 140gr swifts I'm going to load and see what they do. and some 90gr hp for coyote hunting but I well do them later have to wait tell deer season is over.

The Hornady 129 sst is the most accurate in my pistol. The 120 grain Sierra is good with less recoil. I use RL-15 powder.
