A Good Day
« on: October 12, 2006, 03:38:07 PM »
Yesterday was opening day of rifle season here in SC. In my stand at 6:30, nice size cowhorn buck comes into trail 30 yards in front of stand at 7:40 and stops broadside. Deer loaded on truck by 8:30, at processing plant at 8:50 waiting for them to come out of woods. Home by 10:30 and work by noon. Meat for the freezer and now will look for big one. Savage Model 11, Bushnell Elite 3200 3 x 9 x 50, and Winchester 150 grain Power Points. :) :)

Congratulations, Handi243. First year I have hunted with the .308 and think I am going to like it. I use the Power Points in all my rifles and have never been disappointed.
