WGRS peep on a 45-70 Handi with the factory front sight anyone ?

Would like to know if anyone has successfully used William's WGRS peep rear sight on a 45-70 Handi  and the factory NEF front sight instead of HAVING  to go a higher front sight and been able to sight in properly keeping point of aim / impact correct . Thanks

I use it with a Williams Firesight up front, see the Peep and Firesight link in the FAQ and Help sticky. The factory front sight will vary with year of production, they aren't all the same.

I have one on my 223 youth model

I had to bring the rear sight way down but it does work good

Put one on my 30-30 Handi but havent tried it yet.

I USE THE WGRS ANND FIRESIGHT COMBO FOR MY 45-70 ALSO BUT I USE THE GHOST RING ON MINE AND THINK IT WORKS GREAT.
