What do you use for sights?

Just curious about what type sights everyone is using, whether full size or scale. Original, reproduction, homemade, none, etc.

I use a post sight on my 40mm Whitworth

4.5" Mortar - I prefer to use a forward observer.

2.25 inch mortar.

To check for elevation, I stick a magnetic angle measurer on a piece of 1x2 steel tubing and slide it down the bore.

To aim, I slide a 3 foot long handled cleaning sponge down the bore and see where it is pointing.

Well, I spent half of the evening looking for that powder can and never did find it. So, I gave up!  Yeah DD, I know, the picture was taken some time ago, pre powder can requirement days.

Neat, thanks for the replys and photos. I have a 1/4 scale coehorn which is sized for golf balls. I've never tried to hit any type of target with it yet. I like to fire the hollow plastic practice balls in th back yard. The kids love to chase them.

That is loaded gun on the live fire line ready. As you know safety rule prohibit powder casns in the safety zone.....
