Rabbit Hunting in East Texas
« on: November 07, 2006, 05:14:58 AM »
Does anyone hunt rabbits on WMA land in East Texas?  I haven't been rabbit hunting in a LONG time, but am looking for a beagle pup, and plan on starting rabbit hunting again.  I hunt deer and squirrel in Sam Houston NF, but don't see many rabbits.  If someone could give me some advice as to where and when would be good to start, I would be very grateful.  I live in Katy (near Houston).
