I just pick up a 8 3/4'' octagon 22 LR barrel the other day. Can anyone tell me something about it ?....when it was made, ect. Also need a forearm, does anyone have one 4 sale ? Thanks, Maxhunter

I really like the octagonal barrels for light weight off hand plinking, just made a custom wood set for my contender with 221 fireball octagonal barrel. Don't know about the dating of the eight sided barrels
I can custom make a forend for your octagonal barrel in any style you like. If you end up not liking it , I might be will to trade you some custom contender woodwork for your barrel.

Hi
I'm not positive but I believe the 10 oct. forearm will fit your 8 3/4 barrel. If you don't have one let me know and I will check to see if it fits.

The 8 3/4" Octagon 22 LR barrel was make from 1967 to 1978. Hope this helps, Twyman
