Got a true double with my 209x50 this year. Shot my doe early in the morning and was waiting in my stand when i looked up the hill and two 'yotes were standing there. I got my encore up and ready. The yotes were nipping at each other and playing a bit. As I elevated my crosshairs and steadied for the shot, one walked behind the other. At the shot, one yote dropped in his tracks. About 2 seconds later the other yote fell over. To say the least I was surprised. I've tried for a 2 for 1 before, but never had any luck. Always got the front yote, but didn't get penetration or trajectory was altered after passthrough of first animal. When I got to where they fell, they both had blood on them at the shoulder/neck junction. The distance from my stand to the yotes was a lasered 185yds. No wind to worry about that morning, just bullet drop. I had elevated about 8 inches or so over the yotes and the bullet fell exactly where I wanted it. 209x50 has always been a great shooter. 2 pyrodex pellets, hornady sabot, hornady 240 xtp. Less than 1 1/4 at 100 yards.
