There is one smith with the "triad" cartridges... designed to use standard .308/7'08/.358 WCF dies and a .444 shell holder to reload brass for single shots made from .444 Marlin brass. I suppose a web search might find him. If yours is close, then you should be able to CAREFULLY use low end .358 WCF loads for starting, CAREFULLY and AT YOUR OWN RISK...

Hodgdon takes email questions about situations like this. Might have a stack of data. luck.

P.O. Ackley's second book has a table of loads. IIRC it think Bob Hutton is credited with it.

It appears to be a good round and again IIRC about equal to the .356, which also can be made from the .444 case but is loaded to higher pressure.

Well, there wasn't a table, just one load.

48 gr 4320, 200 gr bullet, 2400 fps.

I think that you should remember that this load was developed in the early 1960's and should be approached with caution.

I also ran the case over Load from a disk, version 4, using a 22"barrel for the reference velocities. Usual caution applies.

Speer 180 gr FSP, 47.4 gr Hodgdon Benchmark, 2410 fps, 40417 CUP.
Speer 220 gr FSP, 41.9 gr IMR 3031, 2144 fps, 40238 CUP.

Hope this helps.
