Building a smokeless Muzzle loader???

i've got a Muaser 98 action in the shop calling to me. it wants to be a ML with a green mountain barrel. anybody out there done this besides Henry Ball. need some info and ideas.

Perhaps someone on this forum can assist you.
If not, go over to the Savage forum. There are two or three guys over there who have recently built their own smokeless muzzleloaders, and have stories with photos. Some of them will have good advice for you. One guy is shooting a custom .45 barrel, and not using sabots.

Check with these guys. Although H&R's are the featured rigs, I know someone who had a Ruger No. 1 done by them and he swears by it.
