Tracker in 45 colt.

Has anyone used the heavier loads in the revolver such as the CorBons or Buffalo Bore?

NO, not a good idea, they are NOT rated for them and likely won't take much of them before coming apart.

If you are interested in heavy loads, go for a ruger, pretty much anything in a ruger.  Taurus isnt know for being "tough"

Get a Raging Bull in .454 -- you can then shoot hot .45 Colts out of it all day long because even the hotest .45 Colt is still not going to enter the .454 range.
