Any thoughts on the recent vote to remove PGC President Thomas Boop? How will this affect the politics within the commission, especially since Boop is highly critical of the current deer management system?

Don't mess with the good old boys.
Mr. Boop made some practical suggestions which the board doesn't consider a topic to be discussed.  The Commission won't listen to the majority of hunters and apparently not to a dissenting commissioner either. I feel sorry for Mr. Boop. I felt he was really trying to make a change, or at least explore other options.

I for one am sick of him.  His attempt to end the early ML season was the final straw for me.  Get rid of his butt and get someone in who will make decisions on based on facts not on the whining of the guys in his area.

Boop was only removed as president only the Governor can fire a commissioner.  Boop decided to take it on himself to deal directly with the Legislators himself making back room deals.  There are 8 commisioners not one.  He overstepped himself and was removed for it.
