LOOKING AT GETTING A 7" AMT HARDBALLER FOR FIELD PISTOL STANDING
HAS ANYONE USED A 45 ACP FOR THIS?

One of our shooters showed up with one about 3 years ago.  He shot a 28x40.  Not a bad score in my opinion.  It seemed to work well for him.

(Scores aren't the motivator anyway.  The fun factor is.  If the hardballer adds to your enjoyment of the game, go for it.)

 If you can shoot a 9mm large frame the AMT Longslide in 45acp is a piece of cake. Of course the lifetime warranty is history.
