Rear sight question
« on: December 02, 2006, 08:34:48 AM »
Hi,

I just put a Marbles rear on my Rossi Puma 357.  The sight post seems rather loose.  How tight or loose should the post be and is there an adjustment for it??

If you are talking the Marbles tang sight, it beats a Lyman hands down because it doesn't have play like the Lyman does.  The sight post should be rock solid with no side-side wobble, no rotational twist and should be rigid when erected.  If you have play, I'd call Marble about it.  I've found them to be responsive to customers whenever I've dealt with them.
