.30-06 Handi day in Hardeman county, TN
« on: December 03, 2006, 05:49:21 PM »
A buddy and I decided to have a Handi rifle day today.  We both had a .30-06 barrel that had never killed a deer so we thought it would be fun.  Both of us killed one this afternoon.  I guess we're gonna have to do that again!

Yep, got a .45-70 barrel I bought for hog hunting.  It flat tears up a big hog.  Can't wait to see it's performance on a whitetail.

It's always nice to go hunting with a friend you have "that connection with". I know I don't have many, but a couple. And I always have a great time with that select few, harvest or none.
And even better if you are able to use the same rifle/caliber as well.
Good hunting to you and friends  8)

Oh yeah.....another West, TN Handiholic ;D Your hooked now. Those little guns are very addicitve. I am thinking of getting a new one for next year myself. Maybe a cinnamon stock with stainless receiver and barrel. Hmmmm...that sounds good.

That does sound good Stateline.  I've got the cinnamon stocks and really like them.  I bought a Huntsman barrell too in stainless.  It looks kind of cool when mounted on the blued action.  haven't shot a group with that one yet.
