Lead-free primers?
« on: December 04, 2006, 03:58:19 AM »
Do you know if PMC (or anyone else) is still making lead-free primers? Are they any good for target shooting?

They are still available from the big three, IIRC Midway and Midwest both carry them. For plinking targets yes they work fine, for actual target work (and anything else), in my opinion they suck. Consistant is not even in the same class, opening up the flash holes helps a bit, but your loads still need a complete work-over and start with the faster burning powders first.
