I have a 338-06 heavy 16.5" Encore barrel that was build by Paul.    I ordered the barrel and had it in about 5 weeks.  In my opinion  Pauls barrel are much better than  Thompson Center Barrels  much tighter chambers and they shoot well.  Paul is a very good guy to deal with.  For the difference in the price you can't go wrong.

I do not have any of their barrels but I have heard nothing but good things said about the company and the product. I actually hope to try one in the near future.

I have 2 of them, both a 357 and 41 magnum in 18".  I am extremely happy with them, and the blanks and such he uses are good value (GM for my 357 and Douglas for my 41).  I plan on a 460 and a few others in the near future.
