221 fireball
« on: December 10, 2006, 10:10:31 AM »
I plan to purchase a 10inch TC barrel in 221 fireball. I have found very little info on any of the sites on this caliber. Is it feasible to load cast bullets in this caliber? Why is there so much more info on the Hornet is it a better choice than the Fireball?

I believe that's because the Hornet is more well known than the Fireball!

I have both, but I see no reason why you couldn't load cast in the fireball!

I love the .221 - have it in a XP100 (rifle stocked) with 21" Douglas XX stainless bbl.

Works well with 225415 Lyman.
