IOSSO bore cleaner

...good or bad?

Just bought a couple tubes ...seems to give a good shine lol ..but that aint what I'm looking for. Thought it may be good for some deep cleaning on some neglected rifles. Reckon the instructions on the package "use sparingly!" are there for some good reason. Can you mess a bore up with the stuff?

Thanks,
Reb

I've used the Iosso gun Brite (camo tube) for a long time. Used it in bores, on metal to get a nice shine, etc. From what I seen, it does a good job of cleaning. But on the bad side, it DOES feel overly abrasive. I've not had a problem with it, but I haven't used it to the point of excess.
I would use it REAL sparingly. I recently bought some JB Bore Cleaning compound. And for the most part been disappointed with it. Iosso really is aggressive compared to that.  I use the Iosso now as a metal polish for things like feed ramps, barrel throats, etc. It does a wonderful job on Stainless Steel.
