ive got an old glenfield 60 that holds 18 rounds in the tube, looks brand new, newer mod 60 that i got for 60 bucks in a pawn shop that is of world class accuracy, 83t 22 mag, about to get a 783 wood with the squirrel scroll, in 22 mag, also a mod 30 a  in 3030 lever, that looks like it just came out of a box, got it at a pawnie for 150. came with an old but also looks brand new bushnell 3x9 sportview.  mod 75 that i cut chopped black painted everything, rubber painted everything, harris bipod ,16 in bbl, small Bushie 3x9x32 scope, sanded and slimmed the stock, ww2 30 carbine leather sling, the whole thing weighs about 4 lbs , loaded. I am thinking about getting a stainless lam stock in 17 hmr.  good idea?

I've owned 6 marlins and all but one were Model 336 30-30's. Now I own 2 Model 336 30-30's and 1 Model 60SS but that is always subject to change.

All I have is a model 99M1 that I bought back in 1960s.  With a 3X8 scope on it, it is a very deadly squirrel rifle and I've always loved the way it handles.  Only problem is it now jams about every three shots.  Tried a really through cleaning, but spent cartridges still will not eject properly.  Have to manually remove case stove piped in action  or jammed between fresh cartridge being loaded and receiver.  Metal that rim of case hits to be ejected seems to be worn and tried filing lightly on it to square it off more, but did not help.  Ejection system different than ones on Model 60s built later so can't buy kit to solve problem.  Any ideas out there for fixing my problem.

I bought my wife a 39-A before we were married, in 1979. The only work done on it was the cartridge cutoff got worn and the rifle tried to load two rounds at one time. That was a quick fix, though, and I also had a trigger job done on it at the same time.

It is absolutely one of the best shooters I have ever seen, and with a Williams receiver sight it really lays 'em in there. I wouldn't part with this one. The barrels seem to be really well made.

2 mod 60's , 1 783 22mag, one ancient 81 dl with factory peep site, plus in one week , I will have a mod 56 levermatic, made in '55.
  the 81 dl fires s.l.lr. , and holds 25 shorts at one time!  me likey.
  I had a mod 75 that i black rifle, tricked out, and also an 883. sold 'em though.
