?'s on New 444 Marlin offering
« on: December 12, 2006, 11:37:17 AM »
Will it have the 1:20 twist? Will it only be available in the plain wood Handi or may it be available in an Ultra model also? Will it be a 22" barrel? Will the barrel be available separately and without the front sight? When will they be available?

It's listed as a 22" Handi at Sports South, that and the fact that Marlin's .444 Marlin has a 1:20" twist and Marlin owns NEF/H&R gives us hope that they'll make it a 1:20", but there's no guarantee of that  It will be available as an accessory barrel later. The description indicates it will be a wood stocked model with no sights as the syn stock descriptions usually indicate syn stocks and/or sights.
