This may be a little off topic but I figured just about anybody interested in wildcats is probably fairly savvy with chronographs so here goes:
What's your preferred method for quickly setting up a chronograph? Seems like when I get mine set up (15 feet by tape measure from the front screen to the edge of the shooting table), I've got to walk back and forth a couple of times to make sure that when I look through the riflescope I'm centered in the uprights to the 100 yard target board. If there's two guys and nobody else on the line, I can trust my friend to look through the empty rifle and give me verbal commands on adjustment in no time, but when it's just me or there are other people it's obviously a lot longer process. It occurred to me the other day that someone's bound to have come up with some kind of neat trick for perfectly lining up the chronograph in one take, maybe even without having a rifle pointed at him/her. Anybody got a process that works?
