Hey guys,

I was wondering, do you guys think it would be a better idea to use lead shot instead of an expensive mercury recoil
reducor for adding some weight to my gun?  If so, what would be the best way to go about doing this?  Any help would be
great!

It all depends on what you want to accomplish and what kind of stock you have. I have installed mercury recoil reducer's in Encore
stocks by drilling out the stock myself with great success. I have tried both the lead shot and the mercury recoil reducer and prefer
the mercury recoil reducer. If you are just wanting to add weight use the lead shot, if you want to tame recoil use the mercury recoil
reducer.
