Tom, where do you hunt in Alabama. I'm in St. Clair county and hunt there.

I hunt in Barbour county. I'm in on a small lease, but haven't seen any sign of turkeys. Maybe because we're too close to the chicken plant in BakerHill???

The other place that I was hunting got sold to some people from Florida, and I don't go there now. I had seen some birds there during deer season, but we only have a spring season in Barbour county.

I seem to remember traveling through BakerHill on some of my travels in the past. We have a lot of wild turkey here in St. Clair county. I used to have some down the mountain side in front of my house, but haven't heard them down there in a couple of years now. There's a couple of packs of coyotes down there now, so I think they may have killed out that flock of turkeys. I miss hearing the trurkeys clucking down there. The coyotes wants to sing to me every night and disturbs my sleep.
