Knight Mk 85
« on: January 08, 2007, 06:55:20 AM »
I have a buddy who wants to sell me a Knight Mk-85.   It looks like it is in excellent condition bore looks very good, the price is $135 It has rifle sights right now but he said he'll throw in a Bushnell banner 3x9x40 scope for 15 dollars more.  Is this a good deal or is not?  Any help is useful.
When an Army captain asked him for the direction of the line of retreat, Col Puller called his Tank Commander, gave them the Army position, and ordered: "If they start to pull back from that line, even one foot, I want you to open fire on them."
Turning to the captain, he replied "Does that answer your question?
We're here to fight."

I have one and like it but the price is a little on the high side for a used MK 85.  $100 is more in the ball park.  Is he going to include bases and rings for that scope with the deal?  If it's gun, scope, bases and rings then $150 isn't bad.

Allen I think the price is in line or even better for a used MK-85, Critter would you sell yours for $100? Knight's were the first for inlines (modern) I still own several and they would sit in my gun safes forever before I would sell them for $100. Evidently you are buying from a friend, so I doubt he would be selling a pig in a poke, atleast I would hope so.Good Luck

ourway77,
Nope I sure wouldn't but I bought it for $100. ;D  Mine works too well to sell at all.  I would be hard pressed to sell it for any amount.
