The value of granddad's gun
« on: December 18, 2006, 05:43:13 PM »
When my granddad passed away he left me all of his old guns, one of which was a roughly 1960 vintage 760 in .35Rem. He won it in a raffle and never even bought ammo for it since he only hunted birds. My wife can't understand why I keep around a rifle I refuse to shoot. To her it's just another old gun, even if it is an heirloom. To me it's priceless, but if anyone knows a numberic value for a nearly 50 year old rifle that is still unfired and in perfect condition it would sure help my argument. Thanks
My friends have always been there for me. They encourage me to make new mistakes instead of the same old ones.
