Hot shells?

My buddy was reloading some shells which he thought to be 2 3/4 Poly formed AA's but were Compression Formed Super X's. The recipe calls for like 29gr Blue Dot for the Comp. and something like 31 for the Poly for a 1 1/2 oz magnum load. I was wondering  if 2 grains would affect the pressures too much.

My question is:

What wad are you useing?

What primer are you useing?

The load data I found shows Blue Dot 30.5gr-33.7gr. being the powder charge range.
Useing 2 3/4-in. Win. Plastic AA Shells.

I didn't find any 1 1/2.oz load data on the Winchester Polyformed with Plastic Wad.

The reason I ask my questions is you change the Wad you change the pressure.
You change the primer you change the pressure.

This load is what I would call MAX so you changeing stuff around wouldn't be the best of ideas.

Polyformed=    Blue Dot  31.0gr  Win. 209 Primer Win. WAA12R Wad
Compression= Blue Dot 29.0gr  Win. 209 Primer  Win WAA12R Wad

Both are out of Lymans 4th Edition. I try to stick to the exact recipe. Like I said, someone didn't know what they were doing.
