I live in AR but been to MT a few times.  I think its great.  Did some skiing at Turner Mtn and Big Mtn without breaking a leg. Visited my brother in Thompson Falls and saw elk and deer every day (in March).  Shot a 3 x 4 mulie near Lewistown last year and sage hens on the CMR.  Wanted to shoot some p dogs but the area was closed to restock the ferrets.  I'm planning to go back this year and stick one of those big bulls with an arrow, if I can draw a tag.  In a few years I hope to be a full time resident.  That 23 hour trip, stopping only for gas is a killer.   Good huntin,

My group of 4 stuck to huge bulls just south of the CMR this past september.  Both green scored around 350.  Incredible country.
