41 magnum 250 gr jacketed bullet tests, chrono work
« on: December 21, 2006, 12:14:58 AM »
Hey 41 mag fans, the "future of the 41 thread" encouraged me to post this here:

I've been reloading the  new 250 gr Jacketed soft points for the 41 magnum.

I posted it on the G B reloading forum:
http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/smf/index.php/topic,106535.msg1098304362.html#msg1098304362

These have a rather wide flat point and seem pretty hard.

They also feed very well in my Marlin FG even when loaded long in for an overall loaded length of 1.70".

Fun to have a new heavy bullet for the 41 mag.

Merry Christmas

Just wanted to thank you SO much for taking the time and trouble to provide all of that detailed information.

I don't have a chrono and it seems unlikely that I ever will get one, so work like yours is especially valuable to me.

I hope that you and yours have a great Christmas and New Years.
