after market stocks/barrel fitting
« on: December 24, 2006, 07:40:42 AM »
If I were to put on an after market stock(thinking about the one's from Gunstock inc) and wanted to send it in for an additional barrel, will the factory still except it?

I would think so, but I wouldn't recommend it, keep the original stock set for that, they have occasionally damaged stocks in the fitting  process, sending a nice stock set that you have many hours of work finishing into isn't advised. Even tho their instructions say to send the stock some don't and they still get their barrels.

That said, they are good about replacing damaged stocks, but that probably wouldn't apply to a GSI stock.
