A few years ago I bought a Leupold VX-II 2-7x33mm Shotgun Scope. It cost $300. It has the quarter click adjustments. The new Leupold Shotgun Scopes cost under $200 and have the friction adjustments instead of the quarter click. They seem to be VX-I or Rifleman scopes instead of VX-II. Why the change? Are the new Shotgun Scopes as durable as the older (scopes from 3 or 4 years ago) VX-II Shotgun Scopes. I stepped up to Leupold's from the cheaper scopes out there. I don't mind paying for quality. I'm just wondering why Leupold went backwards with their shotgun scopes. Thanks!
