i was just wondering if any of yall out there used bore guides when cleaning your encore, and if so what kind and where did you get them from?  any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I concur.  Sinclair International guides are great.

You can also make a guide by drilling out an empty unprimed case.

I use one from midway usa. it's caliber specific, and it locks into place. I think it was about 10.00

I use Otis gun cleaning system.  The only one you will ever need.  Used by our tactical sniper teams overseas.  Very compact and no rods.  http://www.otisgun.com/

prc4816, I also shoot a 7-08. I bought the EJS bore guide #53, part #629-262, and the solvent port 27-30 cal, part #670-764 from midway. You don't need the solvent port, but it makes the bore guide longer to clear the scope. you can rotate it so the bore guide locks in behind the extractor. Prices were 20.99, and 6.99. ;D
