375 JDJ
« on: December 20, 2006, 03:09:32 PM »
I am thinking about purchasing a 375 JDJ but am having a difficult time finding reloading data. Does anyone know where to get brass and dies for the cartridge? How is the recoil out of a T/C Custom 15" w/ brake on it? Thanks!

You will have to purchase new dies from SSK..you might be able to pick up a set of used dies on line or at a gun show.  somebody like CH4 might have 375-444 dies, but for dies stamped 375 JDJ, they are only available new from SSK. Hodgdon has load data.

SSK Industries will supply you with load data for all their chamberings. Just go to their website and read the pertinent info.
The 375 is a potent round. :)

for dies you need to call SSK and get a set  or look on ebay or other sites for a used set
brass; You make your own by running normal 444 marlin brass in the 375 sizer die and fire form it to your chamber
loading data SSK can give you data for HIS barrles or you cna check hornady reloading manuals for it
if you are going to go with a T/C custom barrel do your self a faver and call SSk and talk to them. I think you will be more happy with them then T/C
