I needed a new one and went to Radio Shack.  They pulled out a book and showed me the battery, but they could not order it.  I came home and looked up the web site for the battery manufactor and ordered it direct from them.  Took about a week to get it.  I think the manuf. was Yuasa Battery.  The new one worked fine till I lost the caller in a river.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Sourdough

I just hate it when things like that happen. I bet theres a story about what happened that sad day. I would also bet that the Battery was not the only thing that got wet. Sourdough the most important thing is you are here to tell us about it. Thanks for the story........Joe........
