I so badly wanted to buy the frame and get a Bullberry barrel over stock, but for now money is tight-ish, so I decided to wait.
Thank you all for the warm welcome.
One of the first things I was looking into was getting a new Forend/Grip. I plan to do a lot of plinking as well as some longer range play, so I wanted to get a forend that has a wide base that's flat..but my attempted searches online have come up empty. I'm contemplating doing my own forend..My old man has gotten pretty good at working with wood, like to see if we could come up with something, BUT in the event that fails, any links to a site with some decently priced forends like I'm wanting?
Also, in between shooting the shorter chamberings, when going to the 460 I need to aggresively clean out the chamber right? Someone on another forum said I could not use lead cased bullets, and to stay with only jacketed stuff when playing...any thoughts on that?
PS, I love this site..I spent a few days reading all the way back to Dec '05 before I made my purchase. My next barrel is going to be for .308, then more than likely a 45-70.
