How easy is it to remove the barrel on a 7600?

Are they meant to be removed?

 It's not too hard. I've completely broken down a 7400 into componets. I believe somebody even makes a specal wrench to remove the barrel retaining nut. I just used a crecent wrench. Make certian the retaining nut is TOGHT when reassembling.
