spent shotgun shells
« on: December 30, 2006, 04:01:23 PM »
without a reloader they still can be of use he he ...

to cart afield as powder holders for loose and pellets...

also to store sabots and such in..

place measured powder in a 20 gauge spent shell and then cap it off with a 12 gauge shell and ya have a compact premeasured charge ..

thou speed loaders are cheap .. I just find the need to keep spent shells around for such goodies...

also they work nice to tap out that old primer and screw to the work bench in the shop standing upright with a screw threw the primer hole to Hold them pencils, pens, jig saw blades, drill bits ..

Yet I seem to be a pack rat at times.

found a wooden box last summer in a junk pile where alot drop off their deer carcusses and such. and in this wooden box was  :o 780 loaded rounds of 7.62x39 I beleave...Yet they are all Blank rounds for a Boom is all. as they are crimped at the tip and have a hot primer in them all and can hear the powder when ya shake one...

all are in sealed plastic and paper packs of 10 rounds pr package...

WHICH I know of a lad near me  looking for a way to scare of deer or to just have a fun  semi auto gun with some rounds to feed threw it ......

Any Idea's what to do with so many, I asked the Local American legend and such for the 21 gun solutes and such and they said they have no need for them.

I would hate to ship with the Hazardest fee's and such with Loaded ammo...
