I am going to be in Ft. Lauderdale visiting some friends in a few weeks, I am planning on taking the detector with me. Any advice concerning traveling w/detector (I plan on breaking detector down and packing in carry on bag.) we are flying. I am not shure what beach area we will be in, the wife plans on going to beach, and I could care less about laying around doing nothing. Are all public beaches open to detecting, any advice would be helpful, I have only been able to work on private land in Michigan for the past year.
