Gardiner Precision Bullets?
« on: January 05, 2007, 12:28:39 AM »
A fellow shooter gave a box of .243 Gardiner Precision Bullets to me. He informed me they were part of the liquidated estate of an elderly shooter who recently passed on.

The somewhat tarnished 89 grain "Open Point Lo-Heel" bullets are contained in a black and white paper box. The label indicates "For Bench Rest or Varmint. O.P. (LO-HEEL) Made by Ernest L. Gardiner P.O. Box 1682 Rockford, Illinois 61110".

Is anyone familiar with this particular brand of bullets?
If at first you don't succeed, by all means try again. But if this doesn't work, give up, because there is no sense in making a darn fool of yourself.
