.270 Whitetails Unlimited??

I've been offered one as a trade but I would like some opinions for you guys. I searched the web some but could get much on this gun. What was/is it? Pics and info would sure help me make a decision. Thanks in advance, Ken

Those I've seen here had resin laminated stocks with a medallion in the butt stock, comparable to the Ultra, but it may or may not be checkered. There have also been some with walnut stocks, but the only one I remember specifically was in .45-70....I think!! All were very nice. ;)

I saw a 44 mag Whitetails Unlimited that was for sale a couple seasons ago that was in a set of black Synthetic Stocks...FWIW... ;)

I saw one about 2 weeks ago in the .270 caliber on gunbroker.com with a buy-now price of $299 and the bid was at $249 at that time.  It was tempting.........

$299. must be a good price for one then? Sounds like they are a mystery gun....no-one seems to know too much about them. Wish I could see some better pics at least. I checked gunbroker last night but found nothing. Was this a bull barreled gun? 24"  Thanks, Ken
