.375 JDJ brass and dies needed
« on: January 07, 2007, 06:53:27 AM »
A friend is in process of acquiring an Encore barrel in .375 JDJ caliber. We now need brass and dies. I have emailed SSk but does anyone know of any other source? How difficult is it to form .444 Marlin to .375 JDJ? Any advise or tips would be appreciated.

The .375 JDJ is a proprietary cartridge, and only SSK sells the dies.  However, you can get the .375-444 dies from RCBS's Custom Shop and they are the same thing....but they aren't cheap either.  Look on eBay, I see them there on occasion.

Making .375 JDJ cases is easy, just a single pass of new .444 brass in the .375 FL die.
