This is a Co2 powered golf ball 'bazooka' I built years ago...

IIRC, the longest shot I paced off was ~400 yds, but it bounced and rolled some so I don't know where the original hit was. It will do 250 yds easy.

No plans; I scribbled up a few drawings as I made it to make sure things fit together. It's mostly anodized aluminum, with a brass/stainless steel exhaust valve. I made a mount for a WWII vintage grenade-launching sight.

Ball is loaded by rotating the breech sleeve and sliding it fwd. It's charged by briefly opening & closing a valve on the Co2 bottle. Then a button on the exhaust valve dumps the charge to the barrel.

Sweet!

I want one!

How many shots can you get off before you start loosing distance?
What kinda recoil does it have?
Also, any idea how much it cost you to build?
One last Q, if you tried really hard, how fast can you reload and shoot it?

I get about 6 - 10 shots out of a 7oz bottle, depending on temperature. A hot day gives more shots.

Not much recoil, just a push.

Didn't cost me anything; I had everything on hand. I supose if you were to buy the parts and material it would cost ~$100 - $200 depending on where you got the stuff (and anodizing would be ~$75).

Reloading time? Probably about 10 seconds I guess...

Not bad!  And it looks pretty good too - professional.
If I ever accumulate the necessary parts I may build one.
